Terms of Use
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms apply to the MealFuel app, provided by Luciano Carallo, Via della Rinascita 10, 61029 Urbino (PU), Italy (“we”). By using the app you agree to them. They work together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and our Privacy Policy.
1. What MealFuel does
MealFuel suggests a weekly plan of lunches and dinners, recipes and a shopping list, based on what you tell it. With your consent, the plan is written with the help of an AI model and every dish is checked by our software against your diet and allergies before you see it.
2. Food, allergies and health
MealFuel is a cooking and planning aid, not medical or nutritional advice. Nutrition values are estimates from public reference data; brands, varieties and cooking change them. MealFuel does not replace a doctor or dietitian, and it is not suitable for managing a medical condition.
We check every dish against the allergies and foods you told us, but we can't see the products you buy: always read the labels, especially for allergies, and check that meat, fish and eggs are cooked through. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
3. Subscriptions and free trials
- Some features require a subscription. Prices, billing periods and any free trial are shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you started one.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; this doesn't affect your rights under consumer law.
4. Fair use
To keep the service working for everyone, the number of plans, dish changes and photos per week has limits. Don't try to bypass them, reverse engineer the service, or use it in ways that could harm it or other people.
5. Content
Recipes, plans, texts and illustrations in the app belong to us or our licensors. Dish pictures are illustrations and may not look exactly like what you cook. You may use the app's content for your own cooking, not resell it.
6. Changes and availability
We may improve or change features. If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date above; if you don't agree with a change, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription. We do our best to keep the service available but can't guarantee it will never be interrupted; when AI is unavailable, the app builds your week from our recipe library.
7. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
